BeasyGlyder Premium Transfer Board
is a 32 inch long, curved sliding transfer board. This is a great solution for transferring when the wheelchair has non-movable armrests. The shape also facilitates caregiver's natural transfer motions.
The "No-Lift" Frictionless BeasyGlyder Premium Transfer Board:
By not lifting the user, the risk of injury is tremendously reduced. Soreness and injury to the patient's shoulders and arms, and for the attending person, are reduced.
Tissue Friendly - Elimination of Skin Friction:
Standard transfer boards require the user to move along the board, creating friction between them and the board. This frictionless, lateral sliding seat is clearly the state of the art in patient transfer. The user is on a stable seat which moves easily across the base of the system. Friction of movement between the user and the seat is eliminated.
Improved Independence:
The design of the BeasyGlyder Premium Transfer Board provides an upright, dignified lateral slide, unlike other transfer devices. Because the seat easily rotates 360 degrees, the systems can be used for range of motion exercises for hands, feet or other body parts.
