The Carex Universal Transfer Bench is a waterproof shower bench made of lightweight plastic. One side of the bench sits outside of the tub allowing users to slide into the tub without stepping over the tub wall. Compact in size, it features an added weight capacity and has no metal parts to rust or corrode. The removable backrest can be switched to both sides for left or right-hand entry and has two built-in handles to make positioning easier. The seat measures 30 inches wide, 19-1/4 inches deep, and has molded-in handle slots for hand-held shower spray or back brush. The slip-resistant tips prevent the shower transfer bench from moving when the user is sitting down or standing up. For increased bathroom safety, the non-slip feet grab onto the tub floor for sturdy base support while the built-in handles provide stable support. The patented Exact Level System allows users to easily adjust the height of the legs to compensate for different tub and floor heights.
