The DPL Flex Mitt is easy and safe to use. First, fully charge the device for 2-4 hours. A full charge will provide 2 to 3 full 20-minute treatments. Next, unplug the device, it will not turn on while plugged in. Insert the painful hand into the device. Press the power button to start device (may need to press & hold or double press the power button). A light on the battery pack will show when the device is turned on. Leave the hand in the device for 15-20 minutes for treatment. The device is equipped with an auto shut-off function at 20 minutes. Only the red LED’s are visible, the other LED’s are in the infrared light spectrum and cannot be seen with the human eye. The recommended treatment time is 20 minutes, and the mitt may be used multiple times per day (just let it cool between uses.)
