The Easi-Care Soft Gait Belt 60 inch is made of PVC coated webbing that material has a leather embossing, offering a soft touch and a soft pliable feel. Unlike other cleanable belts, this new soft gait and transfer belt prevents chaffing and bruising issues caused by typical hard, stiff belts. The buckle is RF welded and sealed to the webbing to minimize contamination. Since this belt has not been sewn, there's no chance for the thread to become soiled and contaminated. This easy-to-clean soft gait belt is recommended for healthcare professionals who use a safety belt to assist in transferring and walking multiple clients. In between patients, simply spray the gait belt with disinfectant and wipe clean.
