Freedom Folding Cup Holder with Round Tubing Clamp
is a thoughtfully designed collapsible beverage holder that securely attaches to round metal tubing on wheelchair frames, walkers, rollaters, bed rails, scooters. The round clamping mechanism easily tightens securely on any upright or horizontal tubing.
The Freedom Folding Cup Holder is easy to use. Open drink holder, then adjust arms to hold 16 oz to 46 oz cups, mugs, glasses or bottles with up to a 4 inch diameter base. If the cup holder is bumped, the patented support prevents accidental closure. For going through doorways, the cup holder closes flat to only 1 inch thick. Freedom Folding Cup Holder with Round Tubing Clamp provides a helpful solution for carrying a beverage when using a mobility device.

How far out does this stick out from the chair? Is it possible to attach this to the front of the chair so you are able to move around with the drink left in the holder? I am concerned if it juts out to the side that it is going to hit into door ways if going from room to room. Or do you have another option for a holder that would do a better job. It has to to usable for a person with only one functioning arm. Thank you

The base of the Folding Cup holder will hold a cup with a max 4 inch diameter. It can be mounted to the front of the wheelchair if that is where you'd like it to be, it folds easily and can be done with one hand when going through doorways. There are other cup holders available in the "Wheelchair accessory: Cup and Mug Holders for Wheelchairs" section.

On Part # CFP181A, The Freedom Wheelchair Cup Holder, what is the diameter of the round circular piece? I'm wondering if it will fit the inside round tube of my wheelchair instead of camping around the outside?

A:
It should work on any tube up to 4 inches in diameter. I would just suggest that you make sure you have enough room for the cup holder to fold out wherever you put it if your placing on an inside frame.
