Releasing the locking leg allows the cup holder to fold flat for easy storage. The Freedom No Slip Vacuum Pad is a patented suction system. Place the cup holder with the attached pad on a flat surface and push down with slight pressure. Place the non-skid base on a clean surface, and it stays in place! It creates a non-slip suction system that will not move even if you bump it or hit it. The suction grip in the base is incredibly strong but very easy to release: just lift a corner of the base pad to move the non-skid cup holder to another location, or to clean up. Inside the base is a cork bottom to absorb moisture. The Freedom Folding Standard Non-Slip Cup Holder adjusts to hold 6 to 16-ounce glasses, mugs, cans, or bottles.
