The Grip Solutions Transfer Mat is a flexible, non-slip pad designed to provide a secure surface for users to transfer from sitting to standing. The large, textured mat helps prevent the user’s feet from slipping when attempting to stand up or sit down.

The Grip Solutions Transfer Mat measures 16 inches wide and 16 inches deep. The non-slip but not sticky square transfer pad helps users to safely and effectively transition from a sitting to standing position and vice versa. The mat can also be used to stabilize wheelchair seat cushions, act as a large place mat, and secure items to prevent them from slipping. Durable, lightweight, waterproof, tactile-friendly, not sticky or tacky proprietary material is latex-free, heat stable to 240 degrees, and abrasion resistant. The Grip Solutions Transfer Mat is easy to clean and disinfect and the non-slip properties last through thousands of cleanings.

It works very well, but is too small to be really useful and would be better if it was heavier as it buckles up very easily.

Q: Could this be used in a bath tub to help a person stand on it? Is it textured enough to give a persons feet some traction when standing in the tub?

A: The Grip Solutions Transfer Mat is not recommended to be used in the bottom of a bathtub.

Q: Will the Grip Solutions Transfer work on top of carpeting?

A: It would work to a point but not as good as it would be with a hard surface. It will depend on the carpeting as well. A smooth surface would work better than shag carpeting.
