The HandiThings Leg Weight is a flexible weighted wrap that is worn around the lower leg. This tubular weighted stretch sleeve with adjustable closures is designed to allow for maximum flexibility and mobility of the lower leg.

The HandiThings Leg Weight is designed to distribute the weight evenly along the full length of the lower leg, and has easy to secure touch straps that keep the weight in place during activities. For individuals who experience diminished sensory feedback during fine motor tasks, this soft weight is ideal for providing proprioceptive input, weight and compression, and can also be used for strengthening exercises. Therapists recommended wearing the Leg Weight during fine motor or self help activities.

The HandiThings Leg Weight is constructed of durable stretch cotton Lycra, lead free steel shot, and uses heavy duty stitching for added durability. The weight is symmetrical, allowing the weight to be worn on either leg. To determine size, measure the length of the lower leg from 2 inches above the ankle to the crease of the knee. The Leg Weight is available in 3 sizes: Small weighs 0.5lb, 7 inches long, Medium weighs 1.0lb, 9 inches long, Large weighs 1.0lb, 11 inches long.
