The Heelift Bariatric Glide Suspension Boot is designed specifically for bariatric patients who weigh up to 600 pounds. This heel-offloading boot elevates the heel when the wearer is lying down, and features a durable exterior that moves easily over the sheets.
The Heelift Bariatric Glide Suspension Boot provides a pressure-free environment for the heel while protecting the foot and ankle from injury due to pressure and friction. The durable exterior moves easily to allow the user to reposition as needed while the boot remains securely in place. The beveled elevation pad disperses pressure evenly across the entire calf and removes pressure from the heel. The foam pads can be customized for pressure relief for the Achilles tendon and Malleolar decubitus, and support for foot drop. In pressure ulcer prevention regimens, suspending the heel is appropriate for at-risk patients who are immobile, post-operative, or suffer from diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or dietary deficiencies. This suspension boot is an ideal addition to existing treatment regimens and also can be used in cases of foot drop, flaccid paralysis (non-spastic), pre and post-operative hip fractures, and skin grafts. Two adjustable hook-and-loop straps secure the boot in place, and an optional forefoot strap is included. Air holes on the sides of the boot provide optimal ventilation. The heel positioning boot is machine washable if placed in a net laundry bag with the straps closed and the extra elevation pads removed. The Heelift Bariatric Glide Suspension Boot large-size heel offloading boot made of smooth foam designed to redistribute pressure and prevent heel ulcers.
Non-returnable if the packaging is opened.
