the description says it is a teaspoon but the bowl size is that of a Tablespoon and too big for my elderly Mother. The weight was good, though

Weighted Teaspoon
Having a marked essential tremor, I was gifted a place setting of weighted silverware to help me control my tremor when eating. The four piece setting did not include a teaspoon, essential to me for eating desserts and some soups. Thus, I purchased thewrightstuff's weighted teaspoon to add to my place setting. The teaspoon is well made, attractive, easy to grasp, and does the job well of controlling spooned liquids and slippery solids. I was disappointed, however, that the bowl of the spoon seems larger than what I am used to in a regular teaspoon. It seems halfway between a tsp and a TBSP, by mouthfeel and visual appraisal.

Is this really teaspoon size or bigger like a tablespoon? I'm looking for a smaller size weighted spoon like a teaspoon. I bought a set and the spoons in it are so big.

The teaspoon bowl measures 2 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. Hope this helps!
