Large Drop Support Harness

The Large Drop Support Harness is a unique upper body support system is designed to provide better support for adults who have a high risk for falling. This fall prevention aid wraps around the waist, chest and torso, and has a central vertical support handle. This new large size model fits users with longer torsos who weigh up to 250 pounds.

The Large Drop Support Harness features a vertical support handle that runs the length of the torso instead of horizontal like a standard gait belt. The handle sits higher on the wearer’s back so that it is easily accessible by the assistant, but does not interfere with the wearer's movement when walking. Support straps over the shoulders and chest area allow the assistant to better manage forward falls. This fall prevention support harness was developed for adults who are at a high risk for falls due to epilepsy, seizures, during gait training and rehabilitation, or any condition when support is needed.

The Large Drop Support Harness is designed to fit adults weighing up to 250 pounds. Measure from C7 Vertebrae to the natural waistline to determine torso length. The Large size fits users who have a longer torso length of 18 or more inches long, and expands up to 48 inch waist or 2XL.
