Medium Drop Support Harness

The Medium Drop Support Harness is a fall prevention device that is designed to provide a better way for supporting a youth who is at high risk for falling. This unique, upper body harness system wraps around the waist, chest and torso, and has a central vertical support handle.

The Medium Drop Support Harness features a vertical support handle that sits higher on the wearer’s back so that it is more accessible. The vertical support handle runs the length of the torso instead of horizontal like a standard gait belt. The added support straps over the shoulders and chest area allow the assistant to better manage forward falls. This fall prevention aid was developed for youth who are at a high risk for falls due to epilepsy, seizures, during gait training and rehabilitation, or any condition when support is needed.

The Medium Drop Support Harness is designed to fit users who have an average torso length of 13 to 17 inches long, expands up to 48 inch waist. The medium size can be adjusted to fit boys and girls, and adults weighing up to 250 pounds. Measure from C7 Vertebrae to the natural waistline to determine torso length. • Materials: Heavy weight polypropylene webbing.
• Weight limit: 250 lbs.
• Care: Clean with water and a mild soap solution. Do not use bleach or bleach solutions. Wipe off hardware with a clean, dry cloth, and hang to air dry.
