A:
Yes, after cutting the egg one way, turn the egg the opposite direction you cut and continue that until you have the egg cut to the desired size.

Would the egg slicer work on tomatoes?

A:
I don't think the slicer will be able to cut through the skin of the tomato. It could be used to slice the tomato after it is peeled.
