Parallel Dip Weight System - Discontinued

The Parallel Dip Weight System is designed to improve upper body strength, especially the muscles of the shoulders and rear arms. This wheelchair accessible fitness machine has an extra wide design to accommodate all wheelchair widths.

The Parallel Dip provides resistance in both the forward and reverse directions, which allows for more effective arm and shoulder exercise. This free-weight plate loaded machine allows for 1 1/4 lb. incremental resistance changes, and uses disc weights that have a 1 inch bore (weights are not included). The oil impregnated bronze bushings assure a smooth and quiet operation.

The handle height adjusts from 20 to 26 inches to accommodate different user sizes. The Parallel Dip can be used by people sitting in a wheelchair or a conventional chair. For wheelchair users, back the chair into the frame and place the rear wheels onto the floor plates and ensure that the chair is centered between the handles. If using a conventional chair, center the front chair legs onto the floor plates.

The 55 lb. heavy duty powder-coated steel frame, measures 40 inches long, 36 inches wide, and 36 inches high. Non-skid floor plates provide increased safety and floor protection. The unit requires partial assembly and ships UPS Ground, 2-3 week lead time.
