The Push Med Foot Brace FP by BraceLab is designed with strong functional straps that create a connection between the heel and forefoot, strategically reducing tension on the plantar fascia. This approach unloads the fascia insertion at the heel bone without applying uncomfortable pressure to the sole of the foot. The Push med Foot Brace FP by BraceLab consists of a base around the forefoot (forefoot part), which is elastically connected to a heel piece. In addition, two non-elastic, functional straps connect the heel piece to the base around the forefoot. The forefoot part is formed by a textile that folds well around the shape of the foot and is wrapped firmly around the forefoot. There are anti-slip strips on the inside that prevent sliding. On top, hook-and-loop fasteners are attached. There are non-elastic, functional straps on the heel piece that run crosswise under the foot and are attached to the forefoot part. By connecting the forefoot and the heel via sturdy straps, the arch of the foot is supported. As a result, the forces exerted on the plantar fascia and its attachments when using the foot are partly absorbed. This allows the foot to recover and reduces pain.
The Push med Foot Brace FP by BraceLab is indicated for relieving Plantar fasciitis and Plantar heel pain. The following disorders are negatively affected by pressure around the forefoot, pressure on the heel, or pressure on other parts of the foot. To determine the size needed, measure around the ball of the foot and your foot length from toe to heel edge as shown. When measuring your forefoot circumference, make sure you are bearing weight on the foot being measured. Refer to the size chart to cross-reference the two measurements and select the appropriate size. Please note: If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing down.
