The Safe-T Mate Magnetic Personal Alarm is a simple and reliable switching mechanism that uses a surface mounted magnet that releases in any direction. A low battery warning LED and low power consumption circuitry for extended battery life have been added. The unit features a soft silicone jacket for protection from dropping, an integrated upholstery clip and a 95 db pulsing horn. The alarm will sound at the moment the magnet is pulled away from the metal face plate and can only be silenced by re-applying the magnet. The cord assembly is adjustable from 18 - 32 inches for bed or wheelchair use. The unit is powered by a 9V battery which is included. Replacement magnet and cord assemblies are also available.
