The socks are lined with silicone fragrance-free gel that comfortably conforms to your feet. The gel lining releases medical grade mineral oil that moisturizes the skin.

These socks effectively encase the foot in a gel layer which holds-in the natural moisture of the skin. Intended for non-shoe use, they keep the thickened skin, which builds under the foot, softer at night, reducing the discomfort which comes from the soft tissue under the cracks in the thickened skin. The gel gradually releases a medical-grade combination of vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants, including vitamins A & E and jojoba, as well as olive, grape seed and mineral oils into the skin to form an occlusive barrier. This process has been shown to be particularly beneficial for those with psoriasis and eczema. The socks can be warmed for additional comfort. Gel therapy socks are reusable and, when worn for two to three times per week, will provide moisturizing benefits for up to three months, depending on frequency and length of use.
