The
Simplicity Transfer Bench Shower Curtain
provides a functional and elegant solution for privacy and safety for tub transfer bench users. This adapted shower curtain was designed by an occupational therapist. A tub transfer bench prevents a regular shower curtain from closing around the tub and allows water to be sprayed outside the tub. In the lower portion of the Simplicity Transfer Bench Shower Curtain are two vertical slits which allow the curtain to fall down and remain fully inside the tub, keeping the water inside the tub for increased bathroom safety and comfort.
The Simplicity Transfer Bench Shower Curtain features a patented hookless design that is easy to use. There is no need to remove the shower rod. Simply slide the ring openings over the bar and the curtain is hung quickly. The embedded rings allow the curtain to hang properly and let it slide smoothly across the shower curtain rod. Weighted magnets at each bottom corner secure the flap to the inside of the tub to reduce leaks and prevent billowing. This adapted shower curtain is made of water repellent, 100% polyester plain weave fabric that resists soap scum build-up. The Simplicity Transfer Bench Shower Curtain is available in white or beige.

It is perfect. A flap goes through the space between the slats of the transfer bench, keeping the shower water inside the tub. The rest of the shower curtain hangs from the curtain rod to the inside of the tub. No water ends up on the floor. All the water stays in the tub. Great design!

Wish I'd invented this
I've recommended this to many patients who use tub transfer benches to keep water off of the floor and will continue to do so. It is made from moderate weight material, providing adequate privacy, designed to be used on its own. It does not tear and the magnets hold it down well against the wall of the tub. A nice bonus - no shower curtain hooks required.

I ordered the shower curtain thinking I had a normal shower chair. The curtain doesn't really fit well over the chair. The slit is cut too small. When I shower, water gets all over the floor. It was a waste of $30.

Excellent Product
Works exactly as described. Actually keeps all the water inside the tub when you set your rod to the correct height. I would recommend this to anyone who uses a bathtub assist bench.

100% polyester plain weave fabric. The flap measures 10 ½ inches wide, the width from each side to the flap is 28 5/8 inches..

The curtain functions the same as a regular shower curtain Simply slide it open to get in and close it when comfortably seated.

I have this shower curtain and water still gets everywhere outside the tub. Do you have one that is made of plastic a shower liner? I have to keep a rolled up towel under my bench on the floor to prevent water from getting all over the bathroom. FYI: I will not be ordering another one because it does not do what I was hoping it to do. I have the curtain set up just like they do in the picture. Still getting water on the floor. Do you have any suggestions?

Sorry to hear that it is not working well for you. We do not offer this model with a plastic liner. This suggestion came from another customer: "Make sure the shower curtain is hanging INSIDE THE TUB. Take the FLAP, and INSTEAD of letting it hang OUT of the TUB AND BENCH, FOLD IT INWARD SO IT LIES ON THE BENCH, like you were going to sit on it. Let it fall PERPENDICULAR as possible to the bench, not swooping, like a pool slide. That way the slits in it will remain as closed as possible. Now, in order so that you don't slip when you sit on it, fold each of the corners where the magnets are in a triangular fashion so that your buttocks are ON most of the bench." If possible, try to use a handheld showerhead when washing up. That way you can always control where the water is going. Just make sure the hose is long enough for free movement.

When I did the shower, I have to sit on the bench where the slit is and also mine doesn’t fit directly into the shower. It Hass to sit on an angle because the toilet is there. Please tell me you have a solution?

Sounds like the bathroom is small and there is not enough room for the transfer bench. You may want to consider a tub mount transfer bench so that the bench can be positioned correctly. Look at the CEH78768 Tub Mounted Swivel Sliding Ergo Shower Seat.
