The Skil-Care Adjustable Lateral Support provides comfortable support to prevent lateral leaning in a wheelchair, geri-chair or standard chair. Users can adjust the covered foam-pads in or out and up and down for comfort. The pads can be easily positioned below the axilla so that they do not interfere with the user’s ability to self-propel their wheelchair. Three sizes are available to accommodate petite to bariatric users. To determine the proper size, measure the width of the patient’s back just below the armpits. The small size fits users with a torso width from 10 to 15 inches, and the outside width measures 14 to 19 inches. The medium size fits users with a torso width from 12 to 19 inches, and the outside width measures 16 to 23 inches. The large size fits users torso with a torso width from 18 to 30 inches, and the outside width measures 22 to 32 inches.
