The Soft-Core Wire-Foam Ulnar Deviation Splint supports the MP joints while aligning the proximal phalanges to prevent ulnar drift movement of the fingers due to rheumatoid arthritis. Designed with a soft core that allows it to be shaped to support the palmar arch, this lightweight conforms to the shape of the hand for comfortable support. The adjustable finger tabs and a dorsal strap support MP joints in slight flexion and neutral alignment. Without using tools or heat, the splint can be easily shaped to conform to each individual's hand. This splint is suggested for light use only. In addition to its primary function of supporting the MP joints and aligning the proximal phalanges to address ulnar drift, it serves as an effective MP stop splint.
