The Stander Bed Cane Transfer Handle is a wide-handle bed rail that helps to make movement in and out of a bed easier. People who have difficulty sitting up in bed or standing up from a bed will find this sturdy support bed rail helpful. The Bed Cane allows users to use both hands to sit up on the side of the bed and also offers a stable handle to maintain balance while rising to a standing position.
The Stander Bed Cane Transfer Handle with comfortable, cushion grip is reversible so that the handle can be installed on either side of the bed. The 23-inch long, 19-inch wooden baseboard slips between the mattress and box spring or sits on top of slats. The 10.5-inch wide padded handle provides extra support and leverage when sitting or standing from the bed. The wooden baseboard helps to provide additional stability to help the bed handle support weights up to 300 pounds. A safety strap loops around the bed frame on the opposite side of the bed and secures the transfer handle to the bed frame. The Stander Bed Cane works with most traditional bed types with mattresses between 6 and 14 inches thick and can be used with any mattress size from a Twin to a California King. It is not intended to be used with adjustable beds and is not recommended for use with an extra soft mattress.
