Q: will this remote work with out the original remote that came with the tv/? We bought a large one ( with too many buttons) from Walmart

Q: One of the grand kids was looking for a way to simplify his grandmothers TV viewing. Mom is very frustrated when she can’t turn the darn thing on. My question are: she has Spectrum service. Do you know if that is comparable with this device? I know she would need help programming the remote. Does it require reprogramming if there is a power outage?

A: This remote should work with Spectrum Service. The remote can be programmed for most tv's. There should not have to be reprogramming after a power outage. You may have to reprogram the remote if the battery power of the remote has died.

Q: DOES THIS WORK WITH INSIGNIA TV'S?

A: It should, however if it is a smart TV then this remote may not control all of the smart functions.
