The
Thermoskin Flexible Thumb Splint
is moldable and low profile splint that supports the CMC (carpometacarpal) joint. This wrap around support provides heat therapy and rigid support for UCL (ulnar collateral ligament) injuries associated with repetitive stress activities.
The Thermoskin Flexible Thumb Splint features a unique wrap around design that allows users to easily apply and remove. Thermal properties of this orthosis provides heat therapy for soft tissue thumb injuries associated with skiing, ball sports and RSI. To determine the size needed, measure the circumference around the wrist. Users will find the straps allow the support to be adjusted for a more comfortable fit. Unique to Thermoskin® is Trioxon®-a unique soft material which not only captures and retains natural body heat, but also, unlike other products, it allows the skin to ventilate and remain comfortably dry. Thermoskins® are completely washable and "breathable" to help alleviate excessive perspiration, skin irritations and the unpleasant odor associated with neoprene products. The wrap around Thermoskin Flexible Thumb Splint provides comfortable support and heat therapy for effective reducing pain from UCL (ulnar collateral ligament) injuries associated with repetitive stress activities.

Small, Medium, Large, for Left or Right hand. Small fits 4-3/4 to 6-1/4 inches, Medium fits 6-1/2 to 7-1/2 inches, and Large fits 7-3/4 to 9 inches.
Measure:
Circumference around the wrist.
Ideal for mildly increasing skin temperature to give increased circulation around the hand and wrist for relief of pain and discomfort from arthritis, Repetitive Stress Injuries (RSI), and tendonitis.
Inner lining made of Trioxon, a unique fiber that wicks away perspiration and keeps skin ventilated and comfortably dry.
Adjustable Velcro strap applies additional compression/support when needed.
Hand or machine-washable.

Thumb Splint design change
I've used this type of thumb splint for years with great success. Unfortunately, they've change the design by removing the mold-able wiring inside that allowed me to mold it to my hand. Without this wiring, this splint does not help me.

To determine the size needed, measure the circumference around the wrist. Small fits 4-3/4 to 6-1/4 inches, medium fits 6-1/2 to 7-1/2 inches, large fits 7-3/4 to 9 inches.
