U-Step 2 Walking Stabilizer Tall

The U-Step2 Walking Stabilizer Tall is an advanced walking frame with a unique base that provides increased stability. This wheeled walker is designed with added features for increased control for users with neurological conditions including Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, ALS, MSA, and PSP. The tall model features extended handlebars for users between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 6 inches tall.

The U-Step II has a patented, unique wheelbase that is extremely stable and provides support in every direction. The solid welded base does not wiggle, so users feel very secure when walking. The majority of the weight of the walker is in the base, which provides a lower center of gravity for greater stability. The turning wheels are placed toward the middle of the base so the U-Step2 turns around in 29 inches. The turning wheels on other rolling walkers are placed to the rear, and most other advanced walkers require 50 inches for turning around. Users can easily turn in tight indoor areas, such as washrooms, kitchens, and hallways. At 23 inches wide, the U-Step2 also allows users to walk through narrow doorways.

Using the U-Step2 is not like pushing a standard rolling walker. This advanced neuro walker does not roll until the user is ready to walk. The innovative braking system is easy to use and allows complete control. The user lightly squeezes either brake release lever to move the walker. Once the lever is released, the unit stops immediately. This feature is particularly helpful when standing up from a chair because the unit will not roll away. Unlike other rolling walkers, users can adjust the rolling speed of the walker. The patented spring-loaded front caster system easily glides over uneven surfaces.
