The Wedge Cup is drinking aid for a wide variety of users with injuries or those who suffer from dysphagia or other swallowing disorders. This includes users with limited muscle control or decreased strength, those with weak or limited range of arm or upper body motion, and those recovering from arm or neck injuries.

The Wedge Cup adapted drinking cup can be used with thickened liquids, unlike other limited flow cups. The cup is designed with a fully adjustable flow control. The amount of liquid delivered can be a normal flow or restricted to a very small amount, allowing the user to comfortably and safely drink at their own pace. The rotating inner liner allows the cup to be used for either left or right-handed users. The cup is easy to use and simple to snap-together assembly. This limited flow cup can be used with hot or cold liquids and is microwave safe. People with disabilities will find the Wedge Cup helpful for drinking with less risk of aspiration.

Q: Will the cup dispense as little as 5cc’s?

A: The Wedge cup offers 4 settings of flow control, but not a fixed amount of liquid. I would recommend the Provale cup product #CRM. The Provale cup delivers a fixed delivery amount of 5 cc or 10cc with every normal drinking motion.

A: The One-piece lid and drinking spout need to be used with the cup for it to work properly

Q: I wonder if the lid of the Wedge Cup is easy for a child to open? We need a cup that she can use herself without being able to take off the lid. It will also be good if she for example can throw the cup on the floor and that the lid will still be "on place". Is it possible to order from Norway and what should we choose then? What is the price for sending it then if we order two cups like this?

A: The cup is not Child Proof. It has simple snap-together assembly, so it may come apart if thrown.

A: The Wedge Cup does not specifically say how little can be dispensed at once. However, the PROVALE Cup (Product #: CRM) is specifically designed to dispense either 5cc or 10cc at a time.
