The Wheelchair Amputee Board is a solid wood seat with extension that provides a leg rest for below knee amputee. This adapted board helps to maintain comfort and proper positioning of the stump, assists in preventing knee flexion contracture of the amputated limb and edema in the stump.

The Wheelchair Amputee Board is durable 5-ply birch plywood box that is designed to be placed under the wheelchair cushion to provide maximum comfort and support to the user. The Amputee Board comes with one insert. For double amputees, an additional insert can be purchased. The Insert measures 6 inches wide and 28 inches long, and has a 6 inch wide, 9 inch long, 3 inch high vinyl covered pad. The vinyl covered pad provides maximum support to the affected limb. The 1 inch high lacquered natural wood finish Amputee Board is available in dimensions of 16 inches deep and 16 inches wide, or 16 inches deep and 18 inches wide.
