The Clear Flip Away Wheelchair Tray is a standard-shaped half tray that provides a larger work surface with an angled outer edge. The attached Adjustable Height Bracket pivots upward for easy entry and exit from the wheelchair.
The Clear Flip Away Wheelchair Tray is made of 3/8 inch thick clear polycarbonate and is a heavy-duty moisture-resistant tray for institutional or long-term care use. The sturdy, transparent polycarbonate offers a clear line of sight through the tray down to the ground and the user's legs. This option is useful for users to keep an eye on their footing while in the wheelchair or for those who have problems with visual perception. The standard shape design provides more tray area toward the center. The tray measures 22 inches long, 8 inches wide at the elbow, and 9-1/2 inches at the front edge. The tray attaches to the wheelchair armrest with an adjustable bracket. The bracket slides the tray on from the front and flips the tray up and out to the side for easy transfer. The Adjustable Height Channel Armrest Bracket measures 2 inches wide, 9 inches long, and 1 inch high, and accommodates maximum arm pad sizes 1.5 inches high, and 2.5 inches wide.
The Clear Flip Away Wheelchair Tray is virtually unbreakable and scratch-resistant. The tray slides on from the front, and then flips up and out to the side for easy transfer. Choose from Left or Right models. The tray includes a pre-installed Adjustable Height Channel Bracket. Steel Channel Bracket Attachments for Jazzy, Permobil, or Invacare wheelchairs are available by special order.
